Senior Management
Mr. David Muita
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
A B.Ed (Science) graduate from the University of Nairobi, David Muita brings over 40 years of experience in educational publishing. Formerly the Managing Director of Macmillan Kenya and Regional Managing Director for Macmillan East Africa, he served as CEO of Moran Publishers for ten years. He chaired the Kenya Publishers Association for three terms, launched Kenya’s first textbook policy in 1998, and founded the National Bookfair and East African Book Development Association.
Mrs. Mary W. Maina
Managing Director
With a B.Com (Marketing) from the University of Nairobi, Mary Maina has 30 years of publishing experience. Previously the General Manager at Moran Publishers, she has pursued courses in book publishing, marketing, and strategic planning globally, driving the company’s growth as Managing Director.

Mr. Patrick K. Wanjuki
Board Member
A Public Procurement Law specialist with two LLM degrees from the University of Nairobi in Public Procurement and Corporate Governance, Patrick is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with extensive training in contract management.
Dr. Florah K. Karimi
Board Member
Holding Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Education (Educational Psychology), Dr. Florah has over 20 years of experience in higher education and research, previously serving as a National Technical Advisor on Higher Education with the Ministry of Education and World Bank.
Prof. Dulacha Galgallo Barako
Board Member
With a PhD from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from the University of Nairobi, Prof. Dulacha is a member of multiple professional accounting bodies and has published extensively in refereed journals.
Mrs. Naomi N. Muita Gichuru
Board Member
Holding an MSc in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, Naomi has over 20 years of experience in hospitality, managing food and beverage operations across Kenya, USA, and UK.
