The Board of Directors of Moran Publishers is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall operations and ensuring that it meets its strategic objectives. The board is composed of a mix of experienced professionals from the publishing industry, education, and finance.
The current board members are:

Prof. Dulacha Galgallo Barako – Member

Naomi Muita – Member
Mr. David Muita: is the founder and CEO of Moran Publishers. He is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a degree in Education. He has over 30 years of experience in the publishing industry, and has served in various leadership positions at Moran Publishers.
Mrs. Mary Maina: is the Managing Director of Moran Publishers. She is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a degree in Marketing. She has over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry, and has held various marketing and sales positions at Moran Publishers.
Dr. Florah Karimi: is currently the Consortium for Advanced Research raining in Africa (CARTA) , Program Manager at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC). In addition, she plays a critical role in the development of grant proposals, carrying out research in higher education related areas and building research capacities for APHRC.
Prof. Barako: is currently, Senior Advisor to the Cabinet Secretary: The National Treasury. He works at the Central Bank of Kenya. Before his current position, he served as Head of Academic Division at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies. He also served as Policy Advisor at the Commission on Revenue Allocation. Currently, he is also Chairman of Council of Meru University of Science and Technology. He also represents the Cabinet Secretary, National Treasury on the Board of the National Social Security Fund.
Mr. Patrick Wanjuki: is a Public Procurement Law specialist who holds a Masters of Laws (LLM) Degree in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham, Masters of Laws (LLM) Degree in Corporate Governance from the University of Nairobi and undergraduate degrees in law and finance from the same university.
Naomi Muita: is proactive, result oriented and has over 20 years of work experience in the hospitality industry gained in Kenya, USA and UK. She has successfully managed 5-star food and beverage operations and is skilled in building and leading teams. She has developed great appreciation of superb customer experience and believes that great customer service is crucial to success in business.
The Moran Publishers Board of Directors is committed to providing high-quality educational resources to learners in Kenya and the East African region. The board is also committed to developing the publishing industry in Kenya and promoting a culture of reading.
