Transforming Education Across East Africa
Kenya
In partnership with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) and the Ministry of Education, Moran Publishers has delivered over 22 million textbooks and 500,000 Teacher’s Guides, supporting the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). This collaboration ensures nationwide access to quality education, bridging educational gaps and empowering Kenyan learners with relevant skills for sustainable development.
Uganda
We submitted books to the Uganda National Curriculum Development Centre for Primary Levels 5 to 7, offering strong products in English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, CRE, Social Studies, and Science, enhancing educational outcomes for Ugandan students.
South Sudan
Moran Publishers participated in a tender by the South Sudan government and DFID, submitting readers for children aged 6-15, contributing to literacy development in the region.
Zanzibar
In 2012, we submitted materials to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Zanzibar, for English, Mathematics, and Science (Levels 1-4), supporting curriculum needs in the region.
Rwanda, Malawi, and Zambia
In Rwanda, we produced over 81 titles for primary and secondary schools, aligned with the competence-based curriculum. In Malawi, our partnership with Bookland International leverages their extensive network to distribute educational materials. In Zambia, we collaborate with Bookworld Zambia, providing revision books and advanced course materials to meet student preferences.
