Moran Music and Dance Grade 11 is a comprehensive coursebook developed in line with the Competency Based Curriculum. It facilitates the development of the required knowledge, skills, competencies, values and attitudes presented in the Grade 11 Music and Dance Curriculum. The content in this book is presented in a manner that engages the Grade 11 learner and stimulates his or her curiosity during the learning process. All learning activities are carefully formulated to equip the learner with the necessary values and attitudes to explore and apply Music and Dance skills and concepts in his or her day-to-day life experiences.

- Extended activity – encourages deeper exploration of sub strands through additional tasks
- Assessment tasks – provides tasks to gauge the overall understanding
- A reflection on my progress – contains tasks designed for self-reflection that help the learner take ownership of his or her learning journey.
