Description
This Teacher’s Guide is developed in line with the Competency Based Curriculum. It facilitates the teacher to help the learner to develop the required skills and language concepts.
It is presented in a manner that enables the teacher to apply the CBC teaching approaches.
This Teacher’s Guide:
• guides the teacher on how to help the learner to acquire knowledge on the specified concepts, perform the various skills and develop passion for English as a learning area,
• presents a variety of teaching methods,
• offers numerous alternative activities to support multiple intelligence and differentiated learning,
• offers detailed explanation of concepts,
• provides digital resources to support digital literacy,
• presents samples of assessment methods and tools,
• provides suggested answers for the given activities,
• guides the teacher on how to mainstream competencies, PCIs, values and attitude during teaching.
