This is the story of a poor farmer who once dreamt of being so rich. One day, as he was walking through the forest, he saw a goose that was badly wounded. The good poor farmer took the goose to his house and nursed it. The goose was so grateful and promised to make the farmer rich. Each day, the goose laid a golden egg, which the farmer sold and bought everything he wanted. One day, when the farmer was away, his wife imagined that she could kill the goose and remove all the golden eggs from the goose?s stomach and have a lot of wealth. She killed the goose and opened the stomach but did not get the eggs. The family could not get their daily golden egg.
