The story is about a family that had a pet mongoose. Mongoose was very good and could even take care of the baby whenever his parents were away. One day, everybody else was away and the pet mongoose was left to take care of the baby. A snake crawled into the house and wanted to bite the baby but the mongoose attacked and killed the snake. When the mother of the baby came back home and was received by Mongoose, who had blood on his mouth and whiskers, she thought that this pet had killed and eaten her child. She bet the pet and killed him, only to discover that the pet had saved her baby when she saw the big snake on the floor.
Moral Lessons:
1. We should avoid acting in anger.
2. We should always protect our friends when they are in danger.
